A section of the garden is tented year-round to ensure wedding celebrations can take place regardless of the weather. The venue can accommodate up to 165 guests indoors and outdoors, while 120 people can be accommodated for a sit-down meal.
Houston Hall
For those looking for a historic setting, Houston Hall is a great choice. Originally built in 1907 as an FBI garage, the industrial space now provides a storied atmosphere for wedding celebrations. The main hall can host up to 180 guests and features high ceilings and six skylights, making it a spacious and photogenic venue to capture moments from your special day.
The View at The Battery
This waterfront venue is located on the southern tip of Manhattan, adjacently from the beautiful Battery Park Gardens. The View at Battery Park offers scenic versatility, with views of the long-spanning harbor, Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, and more! Prospect Park Picnic House
This historic setting is located in the heart of Brookyln’s premier park. This venue provides an outdoor ceremony space with beautiful views of the 90-acre Long Meadow, with the Picnic House’s floor-to-ceiling windows and wood fireplace providing the perfect backdrop for your reception. Various wedding sizes are capable of being supported, from micro-weddings of 50 guests to cocktail-style events that can accommodate 240 guests.

Celebrate at Snug Harbor
This Cultural Center and Botanical Garden provides you and your guests plenty of eye candy to take in, from its stunning architecture to its lush gardens. You and up to 350 guests can explore the gorgeous Tuscan Garden, Chinese Scholar Garden, and various hedge mazes and floral pathways that the venue has to offer. After holding your ceremony in the breathtaking Botanical Gardens, your wedding celebration can take place in the Great Hall ballroom, featuring chandeliers hanging from the 40-foot ceilings and Palladian windows that offer plenty of natural light. Do you need to be a resident to be married in New York?
New York City does not have any residency requirement for those looking to be married in the state. To be legally married in NYC, you must obtain a marriage license prior to the marriage ceremony. Can you get married in New York on the same day that you receive your marriage license?
You must wait 24 hours after the exact time that the marriage license was issued in order for the wedding ceremony to take place. However, the waiting period can be waived by a judge or justice of the Supreme Court of New York State. Upon being granted a Judicial Waiver, this document must be given to your Marriage Officiant so that they can perform the ceremony within the 24-hour wait period.
