Julia & Trevor were married this Fall at the beautiful Viansa Winery in Sonoma, CA. This venue offers gorgeous panoramic view of the Sonoma valley, a beautiful courtyard setting with rolling hills in the background, the cellar also offers a romantic place for the reception. All of these detail provide a picturesque backdrop for a wedding celebration with a true wine country feel.

How did you meet?
Trevor and I met in college. I went to school in Texas, he went to school in Colorado, and his junior year he ended up transferring to my school! Being both college soccer players, it did not take very long for us to be introduced to each other through mutual friends and teammates. When we first met our chemistry was undeniable and we just clicked instantly! Towards the end of the semester we started hanging out more and found ourselves always laughing and just having the best time together. We came into each other lives when we least expected it, and the rest is history!!
How did you get engaged?
I got engaged on a snowy night in Colorado. We were walking to dinner looking at Christmas lights when Trevor then stopped, gave a beautiful speech, got down on one knee, and proposed! Even though I had feeling it was coming, I couldn’t believe it was actually happening. With the snow around us it felt like we were in a winter wonderland and it truly felt magical! We then took photos in the snow and celebrated with our family and friends who were waiting for us at the restaurant afterwards. It was amazing.
What is your favorite wedding day memory?
My favorite wedding day memory was our first look and private vows. It felt as everything during the day was leading up to that moment! Being able to embrace each other before the ceremony was very special and made us both feel very comfortable and at ease. Reading our vows to each other was so emotional and heartwarming! Our vows will forever hold a special place in my heart.
What piece of advice do you have for engaged couples?
My advice for engaged couples is to enjoy the wedding planning process even through stressful moments. Your engagement should be about the love you have for each other and the foundation that is being created for this new chapter in your lives. When you get worked up over little things remind yourself that the most important thing is the marriage itself! Be supportive to each other & remember to live in the moment. Your wedding day will go by fast so remember to take a second to reflect, express gratitude, and truly take everything in!
