Sara & Michael were married in a beautiful fall wedding surrounded by the stunning colors that come with New England fall. They had their ceremony at Millbrook Meadow followed by their reception where they danced the night away with their loved ones. Both their ceremony and reception were marked with personal touches that made the day feel so special. The bubble guns were a personal favorite at the ceremony!

Here’s a little bit about their love story.

How did you meet? We met in high school and have been together since we were 16 and 18! We actually met at a summer workout session, and considering Mike still liked me after seeing me gross and sweaty, I knew he was the one.

How did Mike propose? Mike proposed to me at our favorite beach in our hometown. He brought our dog along, who dug a hole in the sand Mike secretly placed a blue ring pop in the hole, and when I saw it he got down on one knee with the real ring.

Favorite part of your wedding day? Our favorite wedding day memory is how much fun everyone had and how happy everyone was. During a slow dance, everyone was up and dancing and the room was filled with so much love

One piece of advice you’d give to engaged couples? Couples who are engaged should focus on things THEY want rather than trying to please everyone else. Mike and I had baked Mac and cheese, an ice cream bar, and a pretzel cart because that’s what we wanted! We also made most of the decorations ourselves because we wanted it to feel personalized and unique
